Google Teases Pixel 10 Pro Fold Design Ahead of August 20 Launch
Google is all set to launch the Pixel 10 series at the Made by Google event on August 20. The tech giant has already started teasing the arrival of the next-gen Pixel phones. Now, just ahead of the launch, Google has teased the design of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold in a video. Here's what to expect from Google's next-gen book-style foldable phone.
Google Teases Pixel 10 Pro Fold Design
Google took to its social media handle to share a teaser video, giving a first look at the upcoming Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The design appears largely unchanged from last year's Pixel 9 Pro Fold, featuring a prominent camera island that stands out on the back of the book-style foldable. The device sports rounded corners, with the power and volume buttons positioned on the right edge.

In its post, Google remarked, "When it comes to technology, there are few feelings as good as opening your new phone - except, of course, opening your brand new phone."
Pixel 10 Pro Fold Key Features (Expected)
While the brand hasn't revealed anything regarding the specifications, rumours and leaks give us enough of an idea of what to expect from the next-gen foldable phone. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is expected to sport 8-inch inner folding LTPO OLED display with QHD+ resolution and a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
The outer screen is getting an upgrade - now measuring 6.4 inches, slightly larger than before, with peak brightness reaching up to 3,000 nits. It will also support a 120Hz refresh rate and be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2, aligning with flagship durability standards.
Google is also reportedly slimming down the hinge, making the device thinner and more ergonomic. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold may become the first foldable phone to feature an IP68 rating, a step above Samsung's latest Galaxy Z Fold 7, which offers IP48. Under the hood, the device will be powered by Google's new Tensor G5 chip alongside the Titan M2 security chip.
Moreover, it will likely come with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage options up to 1TB. In terms of cameras, the main 50MP sensor will reportedly be Samsung's GN8 with OIS and support for 10-bit HDR video. The ultrawide and telephoto lenses are said to be upgraded Samsung 3J1 sensors, with the telephoto offering 5x optical zoom and 20x digital zoom.
As far as the price is concerned, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is tipped to start at €1,899 (approximately ₹1,72,000) for the 256GB variant. Following its launch, the phone will be available in India via Flipkart.
