Google to ship high-end Nexus 6P starting November in India for Rs 39,999

Huawei, today announced the availability of its recently launched flagship Nexus phone in India starting November 2015. The Nexus 6P is made by Huawei for the software giant, Google. The Nexus 6P runs Android's latest version of ‘6.0 Marshmallow'. The Nexus 6P offers a pure android experience, with amazing apps and cutting-edge hardware, available across Nexus devices.

The high-end smartphone which has been available for pre-orders since October 13 on Flipkart and some leading large format retail stores has received an overwhelming response.Huawei will be sending out the smartphones in batches to ensure a smooth demand - supply cycle. The phones will be delivered to India in batches starting the first week of November as mentioned at the Nexus 6P launch event in Delhi.

Confirming the news, P. Sanjeev, Vice President Sales, Huawei and Honor India - Consumer Business Group, said, "We are enthralled by the response to the Nexus 6P and thankful to all the Nexus fans who pre-booked the smartphone. Our supply chain is working on priority to fulfill the demand and the smartphones will be shipped out in batches. The first batch of the smartphone will be available in India starting first week of November. We are working closely with Flipkart and our retail partners on the availability of the smartphones to the Nexus 6P fans."

The high-end Nexus 6P was launched at an attractive price tag of Rs. 39,999 for 32GB and Rs. 42,999 for the 64 GB version. The phone is available in two colors in India: Aluminum (Silver) and Graphite (Black).

The Nexus 6P sports a 5.7 inch AMOLED display having a 2560x1440 pixels resolution with 518 ppi pixel density. The Nexus 6P comprises of a metal-glass combination. It comes with a Qualcomm snapdragon 810 octa-core processor with Adreno 430 GPU with 3 GB of RAM and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It has a 12.3 MP rear camera. The Nexus 6P has a Fingerprint sensor and a Type-C USB. Its 3,450mAH battery ensures a neat run for a working day. It available in variants of 32 GB and 64 GB versions. However, the phone supports only a Nano-SIM card with connectivity for 4G LTE bands in India
