Google rolled out the stable Android 16 update in June, ahead of schedule. Xiaomi moved quickly and has already begun pushing the update with its HyperOS 2.3 skin. The Xiaomi 15 was the first to receive it globally, followed by the Xiaomi 14T Pro. While a roadmap hasn't been shared, flagship models are expected to get priority before the update reaches mid-range and budget devices.

Android 16 with HyperOS 2.3 doesn't overhaul the UI but brings key performance and security enhancements. It improves animations, app integration, and memory management for a smoother experience. Users also gain more privacy controls, including an upgraded Privacy Sandbox for safer data handling and better ad transparency.
