Prominent tipster Evan Blass has recently shared high-quality renders of the highly anticipated Google Pixel Fold, which is expected to be the tech giant's first foray into the foldable smartphone market. These renders, which have been shared on Blass' Twitter account, could potentially be used as official marketing materials by Google.

The leaked 4K images showcase a stunning and nearly gapless foldable device. In the closed state, the device boasts a thin-bezel cover display, while the unfolded state provides a closer look at the hinge area. While the thickness of the device has not been officially announced, early reports suggest that the phone's dimensions in the closed position are 5.5 inches x 3.1 inches x 0.5 inches.

The device's rear camera bar, while not stretching edge to edge like its non-foldable counterparts, is still visually appealing. The device's black color option could potentially be named Obsidian when the device is officially launched, with another rumored color variant being Porcelain.

One noticeable feature of the device's primary display is the thick bezels, which could work in the device's favor when it comes to real-world use. Google Pixel Fold: Rumored Specifications

Blass also revealed some of the device's key specifications. The Google Pixel Fold is expected to have a 5.5-inch display and weigh 283 grams. There will be IPX8 water resistance and a USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, and when it comes to cameras, it will have an internal 8MP camera and a front-facing 9.5MP sensor.

Furthermore, Jon Prosser of Front Page Tech (via 9To5Google) claims that the Pixel Fold will be equipped with Google's Tensor G2 processor and 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. The phone will have two storage options: 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Both displays will be OLED with a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz, with the outer measuring 5.8 inches and a resolution of 2092x1080, and the inner measuring 7.6 inches and a resolution of 2208x1840.
