HiOS 16 Based on Android 16 Rollout Schedule Announced: Check List of Eligible TECNO Smartphones

TECNO is preparing to roll out its HiOS 16 update across several smartphone lines during 2026. The company plans a staged release from the second quarter to the fourth quarter. Users of CAMON, POVA and Phantom models are included, though actual delivery dates will vary by market.

The HiOS 16 rollout is designed as a long programme that covers most of the year. TECNO states that availability will depend on region, model type and carrier certification. Because of this phased approach, owners of the same device in different areas may receive the software at different times.

HiOS 16 Update Q2 Rollout Plans

The first wave of the HiOS 16 update targets the latest CAMON 40 family in Q2 2026. TECNO lists the TECNO CAMON 40, CAMON 40 Pro, CAMON 40 Pro 5G and CAMON 40 Premier 5G. These models are scheduled as the starting point for the new software release.

After the CAMON 40 rollout, TECNO plans to widen the HiOS 16 update during Q3 2026. Several CAMON 30 devices are on the list for this stage. The company names TECNO CAMON 30, CAMON 30 5G, CAMON 30 Pro 5G and CAMON 30 Premier 5G.

TECNO also includes newer mid-range variants in the same CAMON 30 phase. The devices CAMON 30S and CAMON 30S Pro are part of the Q3 2026 schedule. These smartphones join the earlier CAMON 30 models in receiving the HiOS 16 update that quarter.

HiOS 16 Update for POVA and Phantom Devices

Q3 2026 is also important for POVA owners awaiting the HiOS 16 update. TECNO lists the TECNO POVA Slim 5G, POVA 7 NEO and POVA 7 among supported models. The phase further covers POVA 7 5G, POVA 7 Ultra 5G, POVA Curve 5G and POVA 7 5G Pro.

The final rollout step arrives in Q4 2026 and focuses on TECNO’s foldable range. HiOS 16 is planned for the Phantom V Fold2 5G and Phantom V Flip2 5G during this period. These premium devices conclude the official schedule shared by the company.
