HMD Aura² Budget Smartphone Launched With 13MP Rear Camera and 5,000mAh Battery
HMD has announced a new budget smartphone dubbed - the Aura², which comes as a successor to the HMD Aura. The latest model is now available in the international market, which offers a massive 5,000mAh battery, a 13MP camera, and more. Let's take a look at the features and pricing of the HMD Aura².
HMD Aura² Specifications
The HMD Aura² has a 6.52-inch IPS HD+ LCD panel with 460 nits peak brightness and a standard refresh rate of 60Hz. The device is powered by the Unisoc SC9863A chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, which also supports a microSD card slot for additional storage expansion.

For imaging, there's a 13MP auto-focus camera paired with LED flash. Upfront, the HMD Aura² opts for a 5MP selfie camera. Moreover, the device packs a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support.
On the software front, the HMD Aura² runs on Android 14 (Go edition). For connectivity, it includes 4G, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, USB Type C, and an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. Lastly, it measures 8.95 mm in thickness and weighs 185.4 g.
HMD Aura² Price and Availability
The HMD Aura² is said to be available in Australia starting March 13 for AUD 169 (around Rs 9,232). It is offered in two colour options namely -- Shadow Black and Electric Purple. As of now, there is no word regarding its availability in India.
The company's latest smartphone in India is the HMD Fusion which was launched last year in November with "Smart Outfits" and advanced camera capabilities. The handset also comes with a Gen2 reparability feature for user-friendly maintenance.
