HMD Global has something big planned for MWC 2018; Nokia 9 launch likely
Nokia 9 is speculated to carry some top-notch specs like dual selfie cameras with autofocus and FHD support and an edge-to-edge with really narrow bezels.
As the MWC 2018 approaches nearer, smartphone manufacturers are gearing up to put their best foot forward. Samsung has already confirmed that it will unveil the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus smartphones at the event. Other phone makers like Xiaomi and Sony are also expected to announce their new offerings. It seems like HMD Global has something big in store for its fans as well. Rumors have it, the company will launch a couple of new devices including the Nokia 9 flagship and Android Oreo (Go Edition) based Nokia 1.

Now, we got a hint from HMD Global itself that suggests the rumors might just come true. The company's Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas has taken to Twitter to tease the launches planned for the upcoming MWC. "Sorry for radio silence. Been super busy planning #MWC2018. Please expect it to be awesome [sic]," reads his tweet. Of course, the tweet doesn't particularly discloses anything, but it does raise our hopes.

2018 Nokia family
As stated, HMD Global is likely to announce the Nokia 1 Android Go smartphone and the Nokia 9 at next month's MWC 2018. In addition, this year, the Finnish company is believed to launch the Nokia 4, Nokia 7 (only released in China), and Nokia 8 (2018). Apart than that, a Nokia 3310 4G variant is reportedly in the works and it recently appeared on the TENAA certification site. Notably, the Nokia 6 (2018) is the first Nokia phone of this year, which was launched earlier this month.

Nokia 9 expected specs and features
The Nokia 9 is likely to be the star of the 2018 family of Nokia phones. Existing rumors claim the smartphone will carry some top-notch specs like dual selfie cameras with autofocus and FHD support and an edge-to-edge with really narrow bezels.
The Nokia 9 is believed to come in multiple variants. The phone could feature a 5.5-inch OLED display and Snapdragon 835 Soc which was Qualcomm's flagship processor of last year. Besides this, it is also tipped to have 12MP and 13MP rear camera sensors and 128GB of internal storage capacity. Lastly, the Nokia 9 is said to pack a 3,250mAh battery with fast charging support and run on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

Nokia 1 Android Go smartphone expected specs and features
Coming to the Nokia 1 Android Go smartphone, it is likely to ship with an HD 720p display of unknown size. Under its hood, the device is speculated to powered by a Snapdragon 212 chipset along with 1GB RAM and 16GB default memory capacity. It will run on Android Go, which is the lighter version of the Oreo OS specially optimized to run smoothly on budget phones.
We bet Nokia fans are eagerly waiting for the MWC 2018 to begin.
