HMD Might Launch Nokia 2.3 Budget Smartphone Soon

Nokia is reportedly planning to launch a new entry-level smartphone. Dubbed as the Nokia 2.3, the device was spotted in a distributor database, reports NokiaPowerUser. According to the report, two models were spotted by the name of TA-1206 for the dual-SIM variant and TA-1214 for the single-SIM variant. The report states that it comes in three color options- Cyan Green, Charcoal, and Sand.

The specifications of the upcoming device are unclear at this point, but more information is expected to emerge soon. However, it is expected that the smartphone will be a successor of the Nokia 2.2, which was launched in June this year. Furthermore, the device is likely to be a part of Google's Android One program.

Nokia 2.2 - Specifications And Features

On the specification front, the Nokia features a 5.71-inch HD+ display along with a waterdrop notch and 19:9 aspect ratio. It offers brightness up to 400 nits. Under the hood, the Nokia 2.2 is powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 chipset.

The same processor is used on Honor 8S and Huawei Y5.the Nokia 2.2 was launched in two variants-- comes with 2GB+32GB internal storage and 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory. That can be expandable up to 400GB via microSD card.

On the imaging front, it includes a 13MP rear camera with A/F and F2.2 aperture and LED flash. Upfront you'll get a 5MP fixed focus camera for selfies. Furthermore, it is backed by a 3,00mAh battery unit along with a 5W fast charging support. It is worth mentioning that last month in October, both Nokia 2.2 and the Nokia 3.2 phones have received a price cut in India, and now it is priced at Rs. 6,599 and Rs. 7,499 respectively. This means Nokia 2.2 has received a price cut of Rs. 1,100. While the Nokia 3.2 has received a price cut of Rs. 500.
