HMD Pulse 2 Specifications Emerge Online; 90Hz Display and 50MP Camera Tipped

HMD is gearing up to launch the Pulse 2 smartphone soon, which will succeed the HMD Pulse that made its debut back in April last year alongside the Pulse, Pulse Pro, and Pulse+. While there is no official word regarding the phone yet, the features of the HMD Pulse 2 have surfaced online. Let's dive into the details.

HMD Pulse Specifications Surface Online

According to tipster @smashx_60, the HMD Pulse 2, codenamed M-Kopa X3, will feature a 6.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is expected to have a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, accompanied by a 2MP secondary sensor, while the front may house an 8MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

Under the hood, the device is tipped to be powered by the Unisoc T7250 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage using UFS 2.1, which will also support additional storage expansion via a microSD card up to 256GB. The device is said to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 20W charging support and run Android 15 out of the box. Other features may include an IP54 rating, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, smart lighting, a custom button, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC.

The tipster did not reveal any launch timeline for the device. However, it is worth noting that the same tipster shared renders and key specifications of the HMD Pulse 2 Pro back in October. So, there is a chance the brand may launch both smartphones at the same time.
