Honor 10 with dual cameras to be announced today and this is all we know so far
The Honor 10 is said to feature a 5.84-inch display along with a full HD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels with 19:9 aspect ratio display.
Honor 10, which is the flagship device from Huawei's sub-brand Honor, will be announced officially in China today. The smartphone is said to be a mid-range variant similar to Huwaei P20, which is the flagship smartphone unveiled by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer last month
The Honor 10 is said to be a replacement of Honor 9, which probably was one of the best-designed smartphones with decent specs. With the release of Honor 10 the company aims at recreating the high-end specifications along with providing premium category specs for at a low cost. The company has given the tagline 'Beauty in AI' so a number of enhancements can be expected by artificial intelligence in the software.
As per some reports from the web, the major point of attraction about the Honor 10 will be its display that will feature a notch. On the designing end, the smartphone is using the similar design and curves that was first spotted on the Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Pro. It seems like the company wants the users to experience FullView display using a notch. It is being further reported that the notch will be smaller than that of Apple iPhone X, however, it will lack the additional depth-sensing camera for 3D face recognition system.
Honor 10 Specs and pricing details
The Honor 10 is said to feature a 5.84-inch display along with a full HD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels with 19:9 aspect ratio display. The Honor 10 is expected to run on HiSilicon Kirin 970 CPU which is the flagship processor from Huawei which is also embedded with a dedicated neural processing unit. Further, the device could be available in two RAM variants which include 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM and the premium handset will feature 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
On the imaging front, the Honor 10 is expected to make use of dual camera setup at the rear with one being 16 MP and the other being 20 MP. Further, the recent TENAA listings hint that the smartphone will include a new feature named as 'semantic image segmentation mode' which will allow the smartphone to capture multiple scenes at once and combine them in a single picture. It is being said that Honor will use AI systems in order to enable this feature.
