Honor 100 Debuts with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3; Honor 100 Pro Joins with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2
Honor, the tech giant, has officially launched the Honor 100 series, introducing two models: the Honor 100, the world's first Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 phone, and the Honor 100 Pro, featuring the potent Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
Both smartphones boast distinctive designs with quad-curved OLED displays, offering unique camera setups.

Design
The standard Honor 100 features a single punch hole, while the Pro variant sports a pill-shaped cutout for a dual selfie camera system. The rear design diverges with the Honor 100 having a rectangular camera module, and the Pro variant showcasing an oval-shaped camera setup.
Display
Both the Honor 100 and 100 Pro come with OLED panels, offering a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and a peak brightness of 2,600 nits. The devices feature in-screen fingerprint scanners for enhanced security.
Performance and Specifications
Under the hood, the Honor 100 houses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset with LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a 5,450mAh battery supporting 100W charging. On the other hand, the Honor 100 Pro boasts the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 100W charging and 66W wireless charging.
Both models offer features like dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, an IR blaster, and a USB-C port, accompanied by Honor's self-developed radio frequency enhancement chip named C1.
Camera Features
In line with its predecessor, the Honor 100 series caters to vlogging enthusiasts. The Honor 100 focuses on vlogging with a 50MP front camera, while the Honor 100 Pro enhances the experience with a dual selfie camera setup, featuring a 50MP lens and an additional 32MP ultra-wide lens.
The rear camera system includes an OIS-enabled Sony IMX906 50MP primary camera and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. The Pro model also integrates a 32MP telephoto camera supporting up to 2.5x optical zoom.
Pricing, Colors, and Availability
The Honor 100 has been released in China in three models: 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, 16GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage. The prices are 2,499 Yuan (~$350), 2,799 Yuan (~$400), and 2,999 Yuan (~$450), respectively.
The Honor 100 Pro, on the other hand, comes in four models: 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, 16GB RAM + 256GB storage, 16GB RAM + 512GB storage, and 16GB RAM + 1TB storage. The prices are 3,399 Yuan (~$475), 3,699 Yuan (~$525), 3,999 Yuan (~$550), and 4,399 Yuan (~$625), respectively.
Both smartphones are available in Glass Black, Moon Shadow White, Monet Purple, and Butterfly Blue.
