Honor 200 Series Launch Date in India Confirmed for July 18: Check Full Specifications, Expected Pricing

The Honor 200 series recently got an official launch date in India. To recall, the Honor 200 series made its global debut last month introducing two new smartphones to the fray - Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro.

According to the official teaser, the Honor 200 series will offer a stunning design and advanced AI features. The specifications and design of the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro are pretty similar apart from a few key differences in the chipset and charging departments.

But first off, the Honor 200 series launch date in India is set for July 18 at 12:30 pm (IST). Following its launch, the Honor 200 series will go on sale in India through Amazon during Prime Day 2024. As of now, there is no information about pricing, although we believe the Honor 200 price in India will start from under Rs 40,000.

On the other hand, the Honor 200 Pro will likely debut in the country's sub-50K, flagship killer segment. The Honor 200 price in China starts from CNY 2,699 (approx. Rs 31,000), while the Pro model costs CNY 3,499 (approx. Rs 40,000) for the base model.

Honor 200 Series Specifications

The Honor 200 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, whereas the vanilla Honor 200 uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. Both Honor 200 series models sport a 6.7-inch Quad Curved OLED display with peak brightness of 4,000 nits. Moreover, the panels feature a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

For optics, the Honor 200 features a triple-camera setup with a 50 MP Sony IMX906 primary sensor with a 1/1.56-inch size, OIS, and an f/2.0 aperture. The main camera is paired with a 50 MP telephoto unit with OIS, 2.5x optical zoom, and an f/2.4 aperture and a 12 MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.2 aperture, AF, and a 112˚ FOV.

The Honor 200 Pro uses a larger 50 MP custom H9000 sensor primary sensor with an f/1.9 aperture, PDAF, and OIS support. The ultrawide and telephoto cameras are the same as those on the vanilla Honor 200. Up front, the Honor 200 series opts for a 50 MP selfie camera with an f/2.1 aperture, although the 'Pro' variant gets a second 2 MP depth sensor up front.

The Honor 200 series also packs a 5,200 mAh Silicon-carbon battery with 100W wired fast charging support, although the Honor 200 Pro also supports 66W wireless fast charging. The Honor 200 series runs Android 14-based MagicOS 8. The Honor 200 series also features an ultra-slim 7.7mm form factor and will be offered in Black and Moonlight White shades.
