Honor 200 Series Launch in India Confirmed: Expected Launch Timeline, Full Specifications
Honor is gearing up to unveil a new smartphone in India soon. The Honor 200 series launch in India was recently teased by HTech chief Madhav Sheth. To recall, the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro was only recently unveiled in China.
However, according to Sheth's post on X, the Honor 200 series is launching in India soon, although no official release date has been confirmed. The teaser reveals that the Honor 200 series will feature on-device AI support and several camera enhancements.

Honor 200 Series Pricing in China
To recall, the Honor 200 price in China starts from CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs 31,000). On the other hand, the Honor 200 Pro price in China comes in at CNY 3,499 (roughly 40,000) for the base model. The Honor 200 series will make its global debut in Paris on June 12, 2024, so we could see the devices arrive in India next month.
Unlike the Honor 90 5G and Honor X9b, the Honor 200 series will offer a more premium specs sheet with the 'Pro' model bordering on flagship. You can expect the Honor 200 Pro to go up against the likes of the Pixel 8a (Review), Vivo V30 Pro, and upcoming Xiaomi 14 Civi in India.
Honor 200 Pro Specifications
The Honor 200 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The phone sports a 6.7-inch Curved OLED display with a peak brightness of 4,000 nits. The screen also boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and 3840Hz PWM Dimming.
The Honor 200 Pro packs a 5,200 mAh battery with 100W wired and 66W wireless fast charging support. The handset runs Android 14-based MagicOS 8.0 out of the box. Up front, the Honor 200 Pro opts for a 50 MP Sony IMX906 selfie camera with an f/2.1 aperture.
On the back, the Honor 200 Pro features a custom H9000 sensor based on the 50 MP Omnivision OV50H camera sensor. The 50 MP shooter boasts OIS support and an f/1.9 aperture. The main camera is accompanied by a 20 MP Sony IMX856 portrait-telephoto shooter with OIS and 2.5x optical zoom and a 12 MP ultrawide unit with a macro mode.
Honor 200 Specifications
The vanilla Honor 200 opts for a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. However, the battery capacity, wired charging support, display, and software are the same as the Honor 200 Pro. Lastly, the Honor 200's main camera is downgraded to a 50 MP Sony IMX906 primary camera sensor with OIS and an f/1.95 aperture.
