Honor has added a new smartphone to its '20' series dubbed Honor 20S in Russia. This is basically a new variant of the Honor 20S which is currently selling in China with a Kirin 810 SoC and an FHD+ punch-hole display. However, the Russian counterpart packs slightly different hardware and is like a trimmed down variant of the Chinese version.

Honor 20s Specifications And Features

The Honor 20S is launched with a 6.15-inch display with FHD+ resolution and TÜV Rheinland certified Eye Comfort mode. It has a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. If we compare its display from the Chinese counterpart, then the latter ships with a slightly big panel featuring a punch-hole design.

For optics, the device is equipped with three cameras at the rear that houses a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. The primary lens is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. Features include a dedicated Night Mode and AI Beauty Mode, etc.

A 24MP camera for selfies and video calls is tucked inside the waterdrop notch. While the Honor 20S in China ships with a Kirin 810 chipset, the Russian variant packs an octa-core HiSilcon Kirin 710 chipset. It is launched with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration and supports up to 512GB microSD card.

The device boots on Android Pie OS and offers a Magic UI 2.1.0 custom skin. It has support for GPU Turbo 3.0 for the enhanced gaming experience. For security, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

It comes with NFC, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity options. To keep everything in check, there is a 3,340 mAh battery supported by 18W SuperCharge fast charging.

Honor 20s Price And Availability Details

The Honor 20S is launched at RUB 21,990 which roughly is equal to Rs. 24,688. It is announced in three color options - Midnight Black, Blue-Violet, and Ice White slated to go on sale starting November 15 in Russia. It is unknown if this variant lands in the Indian market, but we will keep you posted on the same.
