Honor 400 and 400 Pro Launch Set for May 22: Here’s What to Expect
Honor is officially gearing up for the launch of its much-anticipated Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro smartphones. After days of teasers hinting at their arrival, the company has now confirmed May 22 as the official unveiling date.
While the launch location remains undisclosed, the event is expected to bring clarity to the rumors that have been swirling around these two flagship models.

Honor 400: Mid-Range Powerhouse
The Honor 400 is shaping up to be a strong mid-range contender. According to leaks, it will feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits. At its core, the device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB or 512GB.
On the camera front, the Honor 400 is rumored to sport a 200 MP primary camera, accompanied by a 12 MP ultrawide lens. For selfies, the device is expected to come with a 50 MP front-facing camera. This is complemented by a 5,300 mAh battery, which will reportedly support 66W wired charging.
Honor 400 Pro: Taking It Up a Notch
The Honor 400 Pro takes the specifications a step further. Leaks suggest it will have a slightly larger 6.7-inch OLED display with the same 120Hz refresh rate and 5,000-nit peak brightness. Powering the Pro variant is expected to be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, along with 12GB of RAM and a spacious 512GB of storage.
In terms of photography, the Honor 400 Pro is rumored to feature a 200 MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for steadier shots, a 12 MP ultrawide lens, and an additional 50 MP telephoto camera. On the front, a 50 MP selfie camera is paired with a depth sensor for improved portrait shots. Like its sibling, the 400 Pro will come with a 5,300 mAh battery, but with an upgraded 100W wired charging capability.
Expected Pricing and Availability
Rumors indicate that the Honor 400 could be priced around €499, while the Honor 400 Pro may retail for €799 in European markets.
