Huawei's online-only brand Honor has gained much popularity since its launch over a year back in India, owing to the specs-heavy smartphones priced compellingly. The company is now all set to launch a new smartphone in India. This upcoming smartphone, called the Honor 5X, is a mid-ranger that will be released on January 28 in India.
The Honor 5X is essentially the successor of the last-year launched Honor 4X, with significant specs upgrades and a fingerprint scanner on board. In fact, fingerprint scanner is also the USP of this smartphone, for it will enhance the security process as well as ease accessing of certain features like smartphone's camera.
The Honor 5X features a second-generation frame-free fingerprint sensor with higher accuracy, and takes merely 0.5-second to unlock the lock. It should offer smooth performance, also because it doesn't have a RIM around it to hinder the sensor. The fingerprint can be set up in 6 attempts, and can record up to 5 Finger prints. Moreover, Honor 5X's fingerprint reader accepts 360 Degree impressions, and can be used with wet hands as well.
While the design of the Honor 5X has premium elements, the company has made brought about significant upgrades in the hardware features to make it appealing but affordable for consumers.
Combine the premium diamond-polished aluminum alloy casing and fingerprint scanner with other specs and features like a full HD display, an octa-core chipset and a 13MP snapper, and you get the Honor 5X as an impressive mid-range option.
