Honor 70 Lite With Snapdragon 480 Plus Processor Launched

Honor has launched the Honor 70 Lite, the brand's latest budget smartphone, for global markets. The device debust as a lightweight version of the Honor 70, launched last year. The affordable Honor 70 Lite features a large 5,000mAh battery, a decent LCD panel, and a camera setup headlined by a 50MP sensor.

The Honor 70 Lite sports a 6.5-inch LCD screen with an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The panel has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a refresh rate of 60Hz. In addition, the display supports multi-touch gestures.

The budget device is equipped with a Snapdragon 480+ processor, which is paired with an Adreno 619 GPU. The smartphone comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. As for the software, the phone boots Android 12-based Magic UI 6.1out of the box.

Moving on to camera specs, the Honor 70 Lite features a triple camera setup at the rear. The camera array includes a 50MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, there's an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls. The phone can record videos with a resolution of 1080p.

The Honor 70 Lite features a large 5,000mAh battery with support for 22.5W wired fast charging. The smartphone can be charged via a USB Type-C port. As for security, the device can be unlocked via a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock.

Connectivity options on the Honor 70 Lite include support for 5G, dual SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS. The smartphone also features a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Honor 70 Lite is priced at £199 (approximately ₹20,000) in the UK for the sole variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The smartphone is available in Titanium Silver, Ocean Blue, and Midnight Black color options. It's unclear whether the phone will launch in India.
