Huawei's sub-brand Honor is hosting its biggest flash sale for its recently launched smartphone Honor 9 Lite today. The sale will start at 12:00 PM on Flipkart and the company is offering additional discounts and other offers for buyers.
As part of Valentine's Day offer, Honor has announced that consumers will be getting 5 percent off if they use SBI Debit and Credit cards for the purchase. Further, those who purchase the Honor 9 Lite during the sale will get free mobile data up to 295GB from Vodafone. The offer will be valid with a recharge of Rs. 199 for the next 6 months.
Honor 9 Lite smartphone is going on sale for the 6th time now and the company has claimed that the device was sold out in minutes during the earlier sale. As such, Honor 9 Lite, does come with interesting features such as quad-cameras, exceptional design with the glass unibody build. The device also comes with a slew of new features with the company's latest EMUI version.

Design and Display
Honor 9 Lite as per the company has been coated with 12 layers of glass that gives it a bright mirror-like rear panel. The device features 2.5D glass on both the front and rear surfaces. The smartphone sports a 5.65-inch FullView display with an FHD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9.
Processor, RAM and Storage
Under the hood, the device is equipped with ab octa-core Kirin 659 SoC which is paired with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB default memory capacity. The device supports additional storage of up to 128GB via microSD card. There are standard connectivity aspects such as 4G VoLTE, dual SIM support and more. The handset is backed by a 3000mAh battery and it runs on EMUI 8.0 based on Android Oreo.
Talking about the cameras, the smartphone features a dual camera setup both at the front and at the rear. Interestingly, both the dual camera modules consist of a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary cameras. The dual cameras at the rear of the device are accompanied with PDAF and HDR to capture photos with unique clarity.
The dual selfie cameras have a slew of features such as upgraded beautification, gesture controls, ability to capture your expressions, and portrait shots. Further, Honor believes that users will be able to reap the benefits of depth-sensing and bokeh shots while using both the rear as well as the front camera.
The device is priced at Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant and Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB and 64GB storage variant but it will further go down with the new offer where consumers can use their SBI debit or credit card to make the purchase.
