Honor 90 Availability Confirmed: First Smartphone After Reentering India Will Sell Exclusively On Amazon

The Honor 90 will be available exclusively on Amazon India. A dedicated microsite for the Honor smartphone has highlighted some key specifications of the midrange Android smartphone.

Honor recently confirmed it has re-entered India. The brand's first Android smartphone with Google Mobile Services (GMS) to be launched in India is the Honor 90 and it will be sold via Amazon. Let's look at all the available details of the upcoming Honor smartphone.

Honor 90 To Be Sold Under "Amazon Specials"

Amazon India has put up a dedicated microsite for the Honor 90. The actual date from which the Honor smartphone will be available to Indian buyers hasn't been revealed. The page merely mentions the smartphone is "Launching Soon".

According to the Amazon India landing page for the Honor 90, the smartphone will feature a "quad-curved" display with an ultra-narrow bezel to offer an "edgeless display". The screen will have a 1.5K resolution, a peak brightness of 1600 nits, and a DCI-P3 color gamut.

The Honor 90 will boot MagicOS 7.1, which is a custom skin on top of the base Android 13 smartphone operating system. Honor recently confirmed that, unlike the Huawei smartphones, the Honor smartphones launching in India will have Google Mobile Services (GMS). This means YouTube, Google Maps, Search, Gmail, and several other Google apps and services will be supported and function as intended.

Needless to mention, neither Honor nor Amazon India has revealed the price or the price range in which the Honor 90 will be available in India. However, some reports suggest the Honor smartphone's base price could be above ₹35,000.

The Honor 90 is available in Midnight Black, Emerald Green, Diamond Silver, and Peacock Blue colors. These should be available in India as well.

Honor 90 Specifications, Features

The Honor 90 is available in multiple markets around the world. It is quite likely Honor will offer the same device that is available elsewhere.

The Honor 90 features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 1200 x 2664 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display panel has a 435 PPI pixel density and a punch-hole cutout that houses a 50MP front-facing selfie camera.

Honor has embedded the octa-core Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC inside the Honor 90, which is paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. This Honor smartphone is 5G enabled and the base variant of the smartphone packs 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The Honor 90 features a triple rear camera setup, headlined by a 200MP primary camera, and is accompanied by a 12MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and an LED flash. As mentioned above the Honor 90 features a 50MP front-facing camera for selfies, video calls, and face unlock. There's an under-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.

Honor has embedded a 5000mAh battery inside the Honor 90, which supports 66W wired fast charging. It runs Android 13 with MagicOS 7.1 custom layer.
