Honor is expected to launch the GT 2 and GT 2 Pro in China by the end of this year. While there is no official confirmation regarding the launch and other details, the latest leak reveals specifications of the GT 2 series. Here's what to expect:

Honor GT 2 Series: What to Expect?

Digital Chat Station reveals that the Honor GT 2 and GT 2 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite and 8 Elite Gen 5 chipsets, respectively. Another leak claims that the Honor GT 2 series will feature a 6.83-inch flat OLED panel with support for 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate.

For imaging, the GT 2 series is tipped to have a 50MP primary camera. The standard GT 2 could pack a massive 9,000mAh battery, with each phone supporting 100W charging. Other features will likely include an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, a metal middle frame, and MagicOS 10 based on Android 16.

As far as launch is concerned, the Honor GT 2 series is said to come in December in China. It remains to be seen if the brand has any plan to launch in the global market.
