Honor GT Gaming Smartphone Launched with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 120Hz OLED Display, Android 15

Honor has officially unveiled a new gaming-oriented smartphone. The Honor GT debuts as a mid-range smartphone with a number of performance and software enhancements to improve the gaming experience.

The Honor GT features a Snapdragon 8 series chip, an impressive cooling system with thermal conductive gel, a dual-camera setup, a large battery with fast charging support, and the latest Android 15 software.

The Honor GT price in China starts from CNY 2,199 (roughly Rs 25,650) for the base 12GB/256GB model.

Customers can pre-order the Honor GT right now, although it will go on sale in China from December 24. However, there's no information on the Honor GT's launch outside China. The Honor GT is offered in Phantom Black, Ice Crystal White, and Aurora Green shades.

Honor GT Specifications

The Honor GT is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with the Adreno 750 GPU. Moreover, the phone comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone packs a 5,300 mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging support. It runs Android 15-based Magic UI 9.0 with Honor's "Intelligent Game Manager".

The Honor GT sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display with a peak brightness of 4,000 nits. It also boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. The Honor GT features a 3D waterfall VC and the industry's first dual-main-flow capillary net, mimicking nature's heat dissipation cycle for optimized cooling. It also features a 9W high-performance thermal conductive gel for enhanced thermal management.

For optics, the Honor GT features a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary sensor with an f/1.95 aperture and a 12MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.2 aperture that doubles as a macro shooter. The phone also opts for a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture. The phone also packs dual stereo speakers and an in-display fingerprint reader.
