Honor Magic 6 Lite 5G Launched with Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, 120Hz AMOLED Display

Honor recently dropped a new smartphone in its Magic series in Europe. The Honor Magic 6 Lite 5G arrives as the first smartphone in the Magic 6 series. To recall, the Honor Magic 6 and Honor Magic 6 Pro are expected to make their debut in China in January 2024.

While the Honor Magic 6 and Magic 6 Pro are expected to feature flagship-level specifications, the Honor Magic 6 Lite boasts a budget specs sheet.

Honor Magic 6 Lite Availability

Honor is yet to reveal pricing of the Magic 6 Lite, although the device has already been listed on Honor's Italian website. The Honor Magic 6 Lite is set to go on sale from December 27. The Honor Magic 6 Lite 5G is offered in Emerald Green, Sunrise Orange, and Midnight Black color options.

The website is allowing customers to "sign up to receive an early €50 coupon for the Magic 6 Lite and the chance to purchase a Mystery Box for just €50!" As of now, there is no word on the availability of the Honor Magic 6 Lite outside Europe.

Honor Magic 6 Lite 5G Specifications

The Honor Magic 6 Lite 5G is powered by the 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset with the Adreno A710 GPU. The chip is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, although there's no SD card slot for expansion. The Honor Magic 6 Lite runs Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2.

Honor's latest mid-range smartphone boasts a 6.78-inch Curved AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution (1200 x 2652 pixels). The panel gets a 120Hz refresh rate, a pixel density of 429 PPI, and 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut coverage. It also features 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.

The Honor Magic 6 Lite 5G packs a 5,300 mAh battery with 35W fast charging support. For optics, the Honor's latest mid-range smartphone boasts a 108 MP primary sensor, a 5 MP ultrawide lens, and a 2 MP macro unit. Up front, the Honor Magic 6 Lite 5G boasts a 16 MP selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture.

Connectivity options on the Honor Magic 6 Lite 5G include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and more. The phone also features a side-mounted fingerprint reader and stereo speakers with DTS audio support. The Honor Magic 6 Lite 5G weighs 185 grams and measures 7.98mm thick.
