HONOR Magic 6 Pro Launch in India Confirmed: Could Take Place by Mid-July 2024

CP Khandelwal, Joint Managing Director of HTECH, announced the upcoming launch of the HONOR Magic 6 Pro in India. A recent post on X (formerly Twitter) teases this launch, with a video showing various users' requests for the device.

Madhav Sheth, CEO of HTECH, also hinted at the launch. Sheth mentioned that the Magic 6 series would exceed Indian consumers' expectations, emphasising high hopes for the new device. Tipster Paras Guglani shared that the launch is expected in mid-July 2024.

Honor Magic 6 Pro Pricing

Paras Guglani, another source on X, stated that the device would be expensive as HONOR has yet to begin local assembly. The HONOR Magic 6 Pro was introduced at MWC 2024 for EUR 2,699 (approx. Rs 24,265). The Magic 6 Pro's 16 GB + 512 GB variant was priced at RMB 6,199 (approx. Rs 72,400).

HONOR Magic 6 Pro Specifications

The HONOR Magic 6 Pro features a 6.8-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 5000 nits brightness, and HDR10+ support. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and offers up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.

The device runs on Magic OS 8.0, based on Android 14. The rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary shooter, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 180MP periscope telephoto sensor. It also has a 50MP front camera with a ToF 3D sensor.

The Magic 6 Pro is packed with a 5,600mAh battery, supporting 80W wired charging, 66W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wired charging. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, IR Blaster, Face unlock, and an IP68 rating.
