Honor Magic 7, Magic 7 Pro Arrives with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, Versatile Cameras: Check Price & Specs

The Honor Magic 7 series recently made its debut in China. The line-up includes the Honor Magic 7 and Magic 7 Pro. Both phones are equipped with Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon chipset.

Apart from the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, the Honor Magic 7 series also features sizeable batteries, fast charging support, dust and water resistance, the latest software, vibrant OLED displays, and a versatile set of cameras.

Honor Magic 7 Series Pricing, Colour, Availability

The Honor Magic 7 price in China starts from CNY 4,499 (roughly Rs 53,150) for the base 12GB/256GB model. Moreover, the handset also comes in 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB configurations that cost CNY 4,799 (roughly Rs 56,700), CNY 4,999 (roughly Rs 59,050), and CNY 5,499 (roughly Rs 64,950), respectively.

The Honor Magic 7 Pro price in China starts from CNY 5,699 (roughly Rs 67,300) for the base 12GB/256GB model. Moreover, the handset also comes in 16GB/512GB and 16GB/1TB configurations that cost CNY 6,199 (roughly Rs 73,200) and CNY 6,699 (roughly Rs 79,100), respectively.

The Honor Magic 7 is offered in Morning Glow Gold, Moon Shadow Gray, Snow White, Sky Blue, and Velvet Black shades. The Honor Magic 7 Pro model comes in Moon Shadow Gray, Snow White, Sky Blue, and Velvet Black colour options. The Honor Magic 7 series is set to go on sale in China from November 8, although there is no word on international availability yet.

Honor Magic 7 Specifications

The Honor Magic 7 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with up to 16GB of LPPDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The Magic 7 runs Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0 out of the box. Honor's latest flagship features a liquid cooling system that offers efficient heat dissipation. The Honor Magic 7 packs a 5,650 mAh battery with 100W wired and 80W wireless fast charging support.

The Honor Magic 7 sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED display with a peak HDR brightness of 5,000 nits. The panel boasts an adaptive 120Hz (1Hz - 120Hz) refresh rate and is TÜV Rheinland certified for eye protection. The phone also comes with an ultrasonic fingerprint reader and stereo speakers with DTS Ultra.

For optics, the Honor Magic 7 is equipped with a 50MP 1/1.3-inch primary sensor with an f/1.9 aperture and OIS, a 50MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.0 aperture and a 122° FOV, and a 50MP telephoto unit with 3x optical zoom and OIS. Up front, the Honor Magic 7 opts for a 50MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

The camera system on the Honor Magic 7 is bolstered by the Honor AI Light Engine. The Honor Magic 7 also features an IP68+IP69 rating for resistance to dust and water. Connectivity options on the handset include 5G, 4G, AGPS, NFC, Wi-Fi 7, and more.

Honor Magic 7 Pro Specifications

The Honor Magic 7 Pro retains most of the same specifications as the vanilla Magic 7 including the chipset, display (slightly taller at 6.8 inches), software, connectivity, and charging. However, the Magic 7 Pro has a slightly larger 5,850 mAh battery. Up front, the 50MP selfie camera is paired with a 3D TOF sensor.

The only other difference lies in the Honor Magic 7 Pro's camera system, which includes a new 200MP periscope-telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom, an f/2.6 aperture, OIS, and 1/1.4-inch sensor size. Additionally, the Honor Magic 7 Pro retains the same main and ultrawide cameras, although the former has a variable f/1.4 - f/2.0 aperture.
