Honor Magic 8 Pro Launched Globally with 200MP Telephoto Camera, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

Honor has launched the Magic 8 Pro in Malaysia, which was originally unveiled last month in China alongside the Magic 8. The global verison of the Honor Magic 8 Pro comes with a slightly smaller battery compared to the Chinese counterpart.

Honor Magic 8 Pro Specifications

The Honor Magic 8 Pro has a 6.71-inch 1.5K (1256×2808) LTPO OLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 6,000 nits peak HDR brightness. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, the phone comes with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

Running MagicOS 10 based on Android 16, the Honor Magic 8 Pro offers a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 200MP telephoto lens with 3.7x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom. Honor also adds its AIMAGE Honor Nox Engine, which enhances stabilization and image clarity, especially in low light.

For selfies, there's a 50MP selfie camera and a 3D depth sensor. The phone also comes with IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water protection. Moreover, the device packs a 7,100mAh battery with 100W wired and 80W wireless fast charging support.

The Honor Magic 8 Pro is priced at RM 4,599 (roughly Rs 99,500) for the 12GB/512GB variant, while the 16GB/1TB model is priced at RM 5,199 (roughly Rs 1,12,491). It is offered in Sunrise Gold, Sky Cyan, and Black colour options.
