HONOR Magic 8 Series with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC Launching on October 15
HONOR is set to unveil its latest flagship smartphones, the HONOR Magic 8 series, during an event in China on 15th October. Alongside these smartphones, the company will introduce the MagicPad 3 Pro tablet and MagicOS 10. These devices are anticipated to be equipped with advanced features and specifications.
The HONOR Magic 8 series will be the first from the company to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile platform. The global version of HONOR Magic 8, identified by model number BKQ-N49, recently appeared in benchmark tests. It revealed a configuration with 12GB RAM and Android 16 based on MagicOS 10.

HONOR Magic8 Series Features
The HONOR Magic 8 Pro model will boast a powerful 200MP sensor. Both standard and Pro models are expected to support fast charging capabilities, with wired charging options of 90W for the standard model and 120W for the Pro model. Colour options include black, white, gold, and cyan.
The upcoming HONOR MagicPad 3 Pro tablet will sport a large 13.3-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 3200 x 2136 pixels and a refresh rate of 165Hz. This ultra-high refresh rate display is designed to protect users' eyes while providing smooth visuals.

With a substantial battery capacity of 12450mAh, the tablet promises extended usage time. It will run on MagicOS 10, which allows seamless data transfer across iOS, HarmonyOS, and Android ecosystems. The device will also come with a smart touch keyboard and a free-form stylus for enhanced productivity.
The tablet will incorporate HONOR's E2 self-developed energy-efficient chip to optimise performance. Available colours include Starry Gray, Floating Light Gold, and Moon Shadow White as depicted in promotional images.
