Honor has launched its latest sleek, foldable Android smartphone. The Honor Magic V2 is claimed to be the "World's Slimmest Foldable" but still manages to pack flagship-grade hardware.

Honor confirmed the availability of the Honor Magic V2 outside China. Despite housing two displays, the entire Android smartphone weighs just 231 grams. It features Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, a 5000mAh battery, and a lot more. Honor has confirmed its Honor Magic V2 will be available in multiple markets outside China, unlike the Huawei Mate 60 series, which will be confined to their home country.

The Honor Magic V2 should launch in the RU (European Union) early next year. According to the smartphone's leaked listing, it should launch in select markets such as Germany, Italy, Spain, Ireland, and the UK, followed by a few Latin American markets. As Honor has reentered India, its premium foldable Android smartphone should launch in India as well.

Honor has merely announced the availability of the Honor Magic V2. The brand hasn't indicated the smartphone's pricing, which should be quite higher than its China pricing.

The Honor Magic V2's base variant with 16GB RAM + 256GB storage sells in China for CNY 8,999 (approx. ₹1,03,000). The middle variant with 16GB RAM + 512GB storage is listed at CNY 9,999 (approx. ₹1,14,500). The top-end model of the Honor Magic V2 with 16GB RAM + 1TB storage costs CNY 11,999 (approx. ₹1,37,400) in China.

Honor Magic V2 Specifications, Features

The Honor Magic V2 intended for the global markets should be identical to the Chinese variant. Hence, it should feature a 6.43-inch OLED outer display with a resolution of 2376 x 1060 pixels, and a 7.92-inch OLED interior display with a 2344 × 2156 pixels resolution. Both displays support a 120Hz refresh rate.

Honor has embedded the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC inside the Honor Magic V2. The flagship chipset is paired with 16GB RAM. Buyers get to choose between 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB of internal storage.

The Honor Magic V2 features a triple rear camera setup housed in a rectangular module. It comprises a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 20MP telephoto lens. There are two 16MP selfie cameras, one on each display for selfies, video calls, and face unlock.

Honor has embedded a 5000mAh battery inside the Honor Magic V2, which supports 66W Honor SuperCharge wired fast charging. The smartphone boots Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2.

Some of the notable connectivity features of the Honor Magic V2 include 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.3 LE, GPS, NFC, and USB 3.1 Type-C.
