Honor Magic Vs 2 launched with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, 120Hz LTPO OLED Displays

Honor recently unveiled a new foldable smartphone in China. The Honor Magic Vs 2 succeeds the Honor Magic Vs, which was first unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2023 in Barcelona.
The Honor Magic Vs 2 features a Snapdragon chipset, two OLED displays, a large battery with fast charging, and more. The phone also arrives with a triple-camera setup on the back. Here's everything you need to know about Honor's latest foldable smartphone.

Honor Magic Vs 2 Price
The Honor Magic Vs 2 price in China starts from CNY 6,999 (roughly Rs 79,800) for the base 12GB/256GB model. Moreover, the phone also comes in a 16GB/512GB variant.
The Honor Magic Vs 2 is offered in Velvet Black, Coral Purple, and Glacier Blue color options. Honor is yet to announce the availability of its foldable smartphone outside China, although the device will be available for shipping from October 17.
Honor Magic Vs 2 Specifications
The foldable device boasts of a 7.92-inch OLED panel with a 2,344 x 2,156 pixels resolution, a peak brightness of 1,600 nits, and an aspect ratio of 9.78:9. Additionally, there's a 6.43-inch OLED cover screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a peak brightness of 2,500 nits. Both the main and cover screens feature LTPO technology with an adaptive 120Hz (1Hz - 120Hz) refresh rate.
The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC paired with an Adreno 730 GPU. It has up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of inbuilt storage. The Honor Magic Vs 2 runs on Android 13 with Honor's MagicOS 7.2 skin on top.
The triple rear camera unit of the Honor Magic Vs 2 comprises of a 50-megapixel sensor with a wide-angle lens, a 20-megapixel telephoto lens with OIS, and a 12-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens. The foldable handset also has a 16 MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
The Honor Magic Vs 2 is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 66W wired Super Charging support. As for security, the phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It also comes with 5G, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, and USB Type-C connectivity options.
