Honor Magic6 Pro Launched in India with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 180MP Periscope Camera, IP68 Rating
Honor has officially launched a new flagship smartphone in India, the first since its return to the country. The Honor Magic6 Pro follows the Honor 200 series, the 'Pro' model of which debuted in India's flagship killer segment.
However, unlike the Honor 200 Pro, the Magic6 Pro is a full-blown flagship, equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a triple-camera setup with a 180MP periscope lens, a silicon-carbon battery, and what Honor is calling the "world's first intent-based UI".

Honor Magic6 Pro Price, Availability in India
The Honor Magic6 Pro price in India is set at Rs 89,999 for the sole 12GB/512GB model. The Honor Magic6 Pro will go on sale in India on August 15 at midnight (12:00 am IST) through Amazon, explorehonor.com and mainline stores across the country.
Honor is offering a No Cost EMI payment option for up to 12 months on the Magic6 Pro. The Honor Magic6 Pro is offered in Epi Green and Black color options. Additionally, Honor has confirmed that the Magic6 Pro won't receive any price drops for the next 180 days.
Honor Magic6 Pro Specifications
The Honor Magic6 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with the Adreno 750 GPU. The phone comes with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The Magic6 Pro is also equipped with an ultra-wide liquid cooling system and an extra-large vapor chamber. The handset also packs a 5600 mAh silicon-carbon battery with a built-in HONOR E1 Power Enhanced Chip.
Additionally, it has received SGS certification for premium performance, ensuring smooth operation across all scenarios-S+ Level-sustaining this fluency for up to five years. The Magic6 Pro supports 80W Wired SuperCharge and 66W HONOR Wireless SuperCharge. The phone is also equipped with the HONOR C1+ chip for Universal Connection, ensuring superior connectivity.
The Honor Magic6 Pro runs Android 14-based Magic UI 8.0. Honor's latest flagship smartphone sports a 6.8-inch 1.5K Quad-Curved Floating LTPO OLED display with a peak brightness of 5,000 nits. The screen supports an adaptive 120Hz (1Hz - 120Hz) refresh rate and 4320Hz High-Frequency PWM Dimming.
The panel supports Dolby Vision and is protected by nanocrystal glass. The screen on the Magic6 Pro features the world's first Swiss SGS multi-scene gold label for five-star drop resistance. The phone also comes with dual stereo speakers with DTS:X Ultra sound. It also features an IP68 rating for resistance to dust and water.
Honor Magic6 Pro Cameras
For optics, the Magic6 Pro boasts a triple-camera setup with a 50MP OmniVision OVH9000 primary sensor that supports OIS and an f/1.3 aperture. The main camera is paired with a 50MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.2 aperture and a 122˚ FOV and a 180MP periscope-telephoto lens with OIS, 2.5x optical zoom and 10x seamless zoom.
The camera system also features an AI capture algorithm and Honor AI Motion Sensing Capture. Up front, the Honor Magic6 Pro opts for a 50MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture and autofocus as well as a ToF 3D sensor. According to DXOMARK, the Honor Magic6 Pro has the best selfie camera performance of any smartphone with a score of 151 points and the second highest rear camera performance with a score of 158 points.
