HONOR Magic6 Pro Launching on August 2 in India; Expected Price and Features We Know So Far

HONOR is all set to unveil the much-awaited Magic6 Pro in India, which was originally launched at the MWC 2024. The launch will take place on August 2 at 12:30 PM IST. Following the launch, the smartphone will be available for purchase via Amazon, the brand's official site, and leading offline stores. Honor Magic6 Pro Features and Expected Pricing

The Magic6 Pro is confirmed to ship with AI capabilities and superior rear and selfie cameras. While the brand has not shared any features of the phone, we expect it will offer identical specs as the global variant. To recall, the Honor Magic6 Pro was launched with a 6.8-inch OLED, FHD+ (2800 x 1264), display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and 5000 nits peak brightness.

It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. Running Magic OS 8.0, based on Android 14, the device packs a 5,600mAh battery with 80W wired charging, 66W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wired charging. For imaging, it has a 50MP primary shooter, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 180MP periscope telephoto sensor. Upfront, the Honor Magic6 Pro opts for a 50MP front camera with a ToF 3D sensor.

There is an in-display fingerprint scanner and it also features an IP68 rating. Moreover, the Honor Magic6 Pro has been awarded five DXOMARK 2024 Gold labels. As far as the price is concerned, the phone was launched with a starting price of EUR 2,699 (approx. Rs 24,265). Given that, we expect it could be priced at less than Rs 30,000 in India. However, it's better to take it with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for the official announcement.
