Honor Play 7T and Honor Play 7T Pro Announced: Specs, Price

Honor has announced its latest Play series of smartphones called the Play 7T and the Play 7T Pro in China. These smartphones fall into the mid-range segment.

Both smartphones come with similar specifications except for minor differences here and there. Let's take a look at all the details of these smartphones.

Honor Play 7T and Honor Play 7T Pro Specifications

The Honor Play 7T and Honor Play 7T Pro feature a 6.7-inch display with differences in screen resolution. While the Play 7T features an HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, the Play 7T Pro has an FD+ display with a screen resolution of 2388x1080 pixels. Both smartphones have a 90Hz refresh rate.

Both Honor devices are powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Dimensity 6020 processor and a 950MHz ARM Mali-G57 GPU.

Both devices get 8GB of RAM and two storage variants of 128/256GB. They have a dual SIM.

For the camera, the Honor smartphones have a dual camera setup with a 50 MP primary camera and another 2MP depth sensor. While the Play 7T Pro features an 8MP camera at the front for selfies, the Play 7T gets a 5MP camera at the front.

Both devices run Magic UI 6.1 based on Android 12. The Honor Play 7T and the Honor Play 7T Pro have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Both smartphones measure 163.66 × 75.13 × 8.68mm and weigh 194g.

For network connectivity, the smartphones include support for 5G SA / NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, and USB 2.0.

The Play 7T runs on a 6000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support, whereas the Play 7T Pro runs on a 4000mAh battery with 40W fast charging support.

Honor Play 7T and Honor Play 7T Pro Pricing and Availability

The Honor Play 7T is available in three color options: Titanium Silver, Sea blue, and Midnight black.

While the variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage space comes for 1,099 Yuan (approximately Rs.13,130), the other variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage space is available for 1,299 Yuan (approximately Rs.15,515).

On the other hand, the Honor Play 7T Pro is also available in three color options: Silver, Green, and Black. The Honor Play 7T Pro is priced at 1,499 Yuan (approximately Rs.17,900) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, whereas it costs 1,699 Yuan (approximately Rs.20,290) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage variant.

The Honor 7T and the Honor 7T Pro smartphones are currently available for pre-order and are expected to go on sale in China from April 4.
