Honor Power Launched with 8,000 mAh Battery, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, 120Hz 1.5K OLED Display

Honor has unveiled a new mid-range smartphone in China with a massive battery. The Honor Power arrives in China with a massive 8,000 mAh battery, which is nearly 10% bigger than the 7,300 mAh cell on the recently launched iQOO Z10, which incorporated the largest battery on a smartphone in India.

Honor Power Specifications

The Honor Power is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset paired with the Adreno 720 GPU. Moreover, the phone comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The Honor Power sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K (2700 × 1224 pixels) resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen offers up to 4000 nits peak brightness and supports the DCI-P3 colour gamut.

The phone's standout feature is its massive 8000mAh third-generation silicon-carbon battery, which boasts a six-year lifespan. The device supports fast charging at 66W. HONOR has integrated its proprietary C1+ communication chip into the phone, ensuring stable connectivity even in challenging environments like garages or elevators.

The Honor Power is equipped with a dual SIM slot and runs on MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15. It offers storage options of up to 512GB and includes an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity features include support for both SA/NSA modes of 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth version 5.3, NFC, GPS with dual-frequency (L1+L5), USB Type-C audio output, and stereo speakers.

The device features a robust camera setup with a 50MP main camera offering optical image stabilisation (OIS) and an f/1.95 aperture, complemented by a 5MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture capable of recording in 4K. A front-facing camera of 16MP with an f/2.45 aperture is also included.

Honor Power Pricing

The Honor Power is available in three colours: Snow White, Phantom Night Black, and Desert Gold. It comes in three variants: the base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage priced at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 23,300), another variant with 12GB RAM and the same storage for CNY 2,199 (roughly Rs. 25,650, and the top model offering double the storage at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 29,200).
