Honor V30 5G Series Slated For November 24 Launch
Honor V30 series has been doing rounds of the rumor mill for quite some time now. The internet is flooded with leaks surrounding the Honor V30 series. The flagship series is likely to be powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 990 chipset and will be backed by 5G connectivity. Now, the upcoming lineup has got an official launch date. Following are the details:
Honor V30 Series Launch Details
The Honor V30 series launch is scheduled for November 26th in China. The company has apparently started sending out media invites for the same. The invite showcases the front of the V30 corroborating with previous reports about a punch-hole display design.
Also, the Chinese manufacturer will likely be unveiling two models at the launch - the Honor V30 and the Honor V30 Pro. The former is said to feature a single punch-hole for the selfie camera, while the latter will feature dual selfie camera punch-hole design.
As for the camera hardware, both the Honor V30 and the V30 Pro are said to come with a quad-camera setup. The sensors on the standard V30 include a 60MP primary sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a ToF sensor.
The Honor V30 Pro will have the same 60MP primary sensor, but will have a bigger 20MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and an 8MP telephoto sensor. This is the primary difference in the camera hardware of both the variants.
In terms of processor, both the variants will be powered by an octa-core Kirin 990 chipset which is based on 7nm architecture. The Honor V30 5G, on the other hand, will be equipped with a Kirin 990 5G chipset.
Honor is likely to launch the V30 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. But, we can expect a higher RAM and storage configuration of the V30 Pro.
In the software department, both the units are likely to ship with an open-version of Android 10 OS topped with EMUI 10 skin. Notably, the Honor V30 series will come void of Google support and services.
For backup, the standard Honor V30 is said to come with a 4,000 mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging. The Pro variant will be equipped with a 4,500 mAh battery with 40W fast charging support.
Currently, Honor has not revealed any official timeline for the launch of V30 in India. But, we can expect a launch in the coming days.
