Honor has launched its anticipated flagship V30 series that includes the Honor 30 and the Honor V30 Pro, in Beijing, China. Both the smartphones are 5G enabled and pack some quality hardware such as the HiSilicon Kirin 990 chipset, triple-rear cameras, and a dual-punch hole display panel. Here is all you need to know:

Honor V30, V30 Pro Pricing And Availability

The Honor V30 is launched at RMB 3,299 (approx Rs. 33,509) for 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, and RMB 3,699 for the (approx Rs 37,573) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.

The Honor V30 Pro, on the other hand, is priced at RMB 3,899 (Rs 39,612 approx) for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 8GB RAM+ 256GB storage model comes with RMB 4,199 (Rs. 42,664 approx) price tag.

Both devices will be available for pre-orders starting December 5 and will be available for purchase starting December 12. Honor is yet to announce the launch date of the V30 series in India. However, with its official unveiling in China, it could land any time soon in the country.

Honor V30, V30 Pro Key Specifications And Features

The Honor V30 and the V30 Pro packs a similar set of hardware with only minimal differences. Both smartphones are equipped with a 6.57-inch LCD display with an FHD+ resolution and a dual punch-hole.

There is a triple-rear camera on both handsets with a 40MP Sony IMX600 primary sensor. There is a slight difference in terms of the aperture of the primary sensor on both handsets. The Honor V30 has an f/1.8 aperture, while the Honor V30 Pro has an f/1.6 aperture.

The remaining sensors are a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture and an 8MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom and OIS on the V30 Pro. The V30 Pro has an 8MP telephoto sensor and an 8MP wide-angle-sensor.

 

Under the hood, both the smartphones run on the HiSilicon Kirin 990 chipset based on 7nm architecture. The standard Honor V30 comes with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, while the V30 Pro comes with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Notably, there is no option to expand the internal storage of the device.

Both Honor V30 and the V30 Pro runs on Android 10 OS with Magic UI 3.0.1 user interface and Kirin Gaming+ 2.0 experience technology. Backing up the standard variant is a 4,200 mAh battery with 40W Honor SuperCharge technology. The Pro variant gets a 4,100 mAh battery with an additional 27W Super Wireless Charging.
