Honor View 10 Face Unlock feature is blazing fast

Honor View 10 is now smarter than ever. Huawei's sub-brand recently rolled out a new software update for the value flagship smartphone that adds Face Unlock technology to the company's most advanced handset. The 602 MB update puts Honor View 10 in league with OnePlus 5T, Apple iPhone X and a handful of other handsets that can scan your face and unlock the screen.

Honor View 10's face unlock feature is a bit smarter than the facial recognition technology used in other handsets. In addition to unlock the device by scanning your face, the feature can also detect your facial movements and perform other useful tasks. As the handset is injected with machine learning technology, the facial recognition technology on Honor view 10 secures your sensitive information and makes the handset more usable in everyday life.

If the user is looking away from the display, the smartphone will turn it off automatically. Additionally, the feature will adjust the display orientation (auto rotation) according to the distance or position of the phone and the user. Moreover, the smartphone will only display the lock screen notifications once it successfully scans your face and matches the results within its database.

We tested the new face unlock feature on Honor View 10 and the results were pretty impressive. The face unlock feature wastes no time in unlocking the handset and is quite easy to setup. You can enable the 'Face Unlock' feature from settings menu by adding your facial information in device's database. Make sure you keep your eyes open as the face unlock technology only works when it scans all the facial features and successfully matches it with the database.
