Honor X40 GT Racing Edition launched with Snapdragon 888 SoC, 144Hz Display
Honor recently unveiled a new version of the X40 in China. The Honor X40 GT Racing Edition follows the Honor X40 and Honor X40 GT, which were unveiled last year.
The Honor X40 GT features the same specifications as the original Honor X40 GT, although it features a new design and configuration. The Honor X40 GT Racing Edition features a Qualcomm chipset, a smooth display, a triple-camera setup, and a large battery with fast charging support.

Honor X40 GT Racing Edition Price
The Honor X40 GT Racing Edition price is set at CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs 20,500) for the base 12GB/256GB configuration and CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs 22,800) for the 12GB/512GB variant.
The Honor X40 GT Racing Edition comes in Fantasy Black, Racing Black, and Racing Silver colour options. The smartphone maker recently launched the Honor 90 5G in India, although the Honor X40 GT Racing Edition appears to be limited to China.
Honor X40 GT Racing Edition Specifications
The Honor X40 GT Racing Edition is powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC paired with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Additionally, up to 7GB of unused storage can be utilized as virtual RAM. The phone packs a 4,800 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
For optics, the Honor X40 GT Racing Edition gets a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50 MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2 MP depth sensor, and a 2 MP macro unit. Up front, the phone opts for a 16 MP selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture. The Honor X40 GT Racing Edition runs Android 12 out of the box with Magic UI 7.0 on top.
The handset sports a 6.81-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel. The screen boasts a 144Hz refresh rate and a 480Hz touch sampling rate. The Honor X40 GT Racing Edition features a 13-layer 3D cooling system for improved sustained performance. Connectivity options on the device include NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi, a USB Type-C port, and more.
