Honor X50 GT Launched with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, 120Hz OLED Display, 5800 mAh Battery

Honor recently unveiled a new smartphone in China. The Honor X50 GT debuts in China's mid-range smartphone market and arrives on the back of the Honor X50 Pro, which arrived last week.

The Honor X50 GT features a Qualcomm chipset, a curved OLED display, a massive battery with fast charging support, and a high-res primary camera sensor. Here's everything you need to know about the Honor X50 GT.

Honor X50 GT Colors, Pricing

The Honor X50 GT price in China is set at CNY 2,199 (roughly Rs 26,200) for the base 12GB/256GB variant. The Honor X50 GT will also be offered in 16GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB configurations that cost CNY 2,399 (roughly Rs 28,600), CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs 30,950), and CNY 2,899 (roughly Rs 33,900), respectively.

The Honor X50 GT arrives in Silver Winged God of War and Fantasy Night Black shades. The Honor X50 GT will be available for purchase in China from January 9, although there is no word on international availability.

Honor X50 GT Specifications

Honor's new mid-range smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with the Adreno 730 GPU. The phone comes with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. The Honor X50 GT also comes with a 5100mm2 VC cooling area for improved sustained performance. It runs Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2 out of the box.

The Honor X50 GT sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K curved OLED display with a 19.9:9 aspect ratio. The panel also boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and a 600Hz touch sampling rate. For optics, the Honor X50 GT features a dual-camera setup with a 108 MP primary sensor with an f/1.75 aperture and an 8 MP ultrawide lens.

Up front, the Honor X50 GT opts for an 8 MP selfie camera. The phone also packs a 5,800 mAh battery with 35W fast charging support. The Honor X50 GT features an in-display fingerprint reader and an IP53 rating for resistance to splashes of water and dust. The Hono X50 GT weighs 192 grams and measures 7.98mm thick.
