Honor X7b 5G with MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC, 90Hz Display, 6000 mAh Battery Launched

Honor recently unveiled a new affordable 5G smartphone globally. The Honor X7b was listed on the company's official website under the radar and appears to be an upgraded version of Honor X7b 4G, which was unveiled in December.

However, unlike its 4G counterpart, the Honor X7b gets a few upgrades. For one, it switches the 4G Snapdragon chip or a 5G MediaTek chipset and packs a larger battery. As of now, the brand is set to reveal pricing and availability of the Honor X7b 5G, although its specifications have already been confirmed.

Honor X7b 5G Specifications

The Honor X7b 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC paired with Mali-G57 GPU. The phone also comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The Honor X7b runs Android 13 with the MagicOS 7.2 skin on top. The phone also comes with dual-stereo speakers.

The Honor X7b sports a 6.8-inch FHD+ (2412 x 1080 pixels) LCD screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 90Hz refresh rate. The panel boasts a peak brightness of 850 nits and features an eye protection mode. For optics, Honor's latest budget smartphone features a 108 MP primary sensor with an f/1.75 aperture, a 2 MP macro unit, and a 2 MP depth sensor.

Up front, the Honor X7b 5G opts for an 8 MP selfie camera. Video recording is limited to 1080p on both the front and rear cameras. The Honor X7b packs a massive 6,000 mAh battery with 35W wired fast charging support. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, and more.

The Honor X7b also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The Honor X7b is offered in Crystal Silver, Emerald Green, and Midnight Black color options.
