Honor X9c 5G Launching in India Today via Amazon: Key Features, Specs, and What to Expect
Honor is launching its X9c 5G smartphone in India today at 12 PM, just ahead of Amazon’s Prime Day sale on July 12.
The device has already been released internationally and will arrive in India with the same hardware and features, including a focus on durability, display quality, and AI camera tools.

Build and Design
One of the key talking points around the X9c 5G is its certified drop resistance. It has received SGS certification, and the IP65 rating means the phone should hold up against minor water splashes and dust. At 189 grams and 7.98 mm thick, it’s relatively slim and lightweight despite the added protection.
Honor also claims that its internal power management system helps the phone remain stable under extreme temperatures. While this may not impact day-to-day usage much for most people, it could matter in places with high heat or cold.
Display and Battery
The 6.78-inch curved AMOLED screen supports a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, which puts it in the higher-end bracket for display specs in this segment. Honor states a peak brightness of up to 4,000 nits and includes high-frequency PWM dimming at 3,840 Hz, which may reduce eye strain, particularly at low brightness.
The battery is a 6,600mAh unit, paired with 66W fast charging. These are good numbers on paper, and if the software is tuned well, this should deliver solid all-day battery life with minimal downtime.
Camera and Software
The phone has a 108MP primary camera, supported by optical and electronic stabilization. There are also AI features like motion detection and an object-erasing tool, which are becoming more common in mid-range phones.
The device runs MagicOS 9.0, based on Android 15. The software introduces gesture-based navigation and performance tuning that adjusts based on usage habits.
Color Options and Availability
It will be sold via Amazon and comes in two colors: Jade Cyan and Titanium Black. Pricing hasn’t been officially confirmed yet but should become clear during the launch.
