Honor X9c 5G Teased to Launch Soon in India; Amazon Availability Confirmed

Honor is gearing up to launch a new X series handset in the Indian market which is most likely to be the Honor X9c 5G. The upcoming smartphone will succeed the Honor X9b 5G which was launched last year in February. Now, a dedicated microsite has gone live on Amazon, confirming its availability and design.

While the exact name of the phone hasn't been mentioned, the Amazon teaser confirms it is none other than the Honor X9c 5G, which was originally launched back in November. Here's what to expect from the upcoming Honor phone.

Honor X9c 5G Launch Date in India

Honor is yet to announce the launch date for the Honor X9c 5G. However, tipster Paras Guglani reveals the smartphone will be launched on February 15 in India.

Honor X9c 5G: What to Expect?

The Honor X9c 5G is expected to offer the same set of specifications as the international variant. To recall, the X9c 5G was launched with a 6.78-inch curved OLED display with a resolution of 1224 x 2700 pixels and a peak brightness of up to 4,000 nits. It is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage.

For optics, there's a 108MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 5MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 16MP front camera with support for 1080p video recording. Moreover, the Honor X9c packs a massive 6,600mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. On the software front, it runs MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14.

As far as the price is concerned, the Honor X9c 5G was launched for MYR 1,500 (around Rs 29,143). Given that, we expect it could be priced at around Rs 30,000 in India.
