To Start receiving timely alerts please follow the below steps:
- Click on the Menu icon of the browser, it opens up a list of options.
- Click on the “Options ”, it opens up the settings page,
- Here click on the “Privacy & Security” options listed on the left hand side of the page.
- Scroll down the page to the “Permission” section .
- Here click on the “Settings” tab of the Notification option.
- A pop up will open with all listed sites, select the option “ALLOW“, for the respective site under the status head to allow the notification.
- Once the changes is done, click on the “Save Changes” option to save the changes.

Most of the Windows 8 Lumia smartphones are compatible with the Technical Preview version of Windows 10 Mobile, which will be released by Microsoft in near future.

HTC 8X Tipped To Get Windows 10 Mobile Preview

But there are many non-Lumia devices such as HTC One M8 and Nubia, which are still compatible with the Windows 10 Mobile Preview. But now a new rumours tips the non-Lumia device, HTC 8X, will get the Technical Preview of new Windows platform.

According to a report by WMPU, the HTC 8X will be soon included to get Windows 10 Mobile Technical Preview and smartphone will also get the Windows Phone Recovery tool as well. The update is expected in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, the HTC 8X is pretty old device which is getting the Windows 10 Mobile Preview. The smartphone was launched back in September 2012, it featured a 4.3 inch display at 720 x 1280 pixels resolution.

The HTC 8X is powered by a Snapdragon S4 Plus chipset paired with 1GB of RAM and comes with 16GB of internal storage.
