As promised, the Taiwan-based handset maker HTC has launched its first device in A series, dubbed as One A9 in the Indian market today. In terms of design, the HTC One A9 is similar to iPhone 6S, however, the company has placed its rear camera in the different position.
This device comes with multi-directional fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button making it safer for Android Pay.
Moving on to the specifications, this device features a 5.0-inch full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4 protection. On the hardware front, the so-called One A9 is is powered by a Octa-Core Snapdragon 617 (4 x 1.5GHz + 4 x 1.2GHz) processor with Adreno 405 GPU.
Coming to the storage department, One A9 comes in two different variant 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage with an expandable memory up to 2TB via microSD card slot.
The HTC One A9 comes with 13MP rear camera, which comes with Hybrid Autofocus (Phase Detection Autofocus + Contrast Autofocus) and LED flash. Talking about the software, the A9 is shippe d with the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow on top of Sense UI.
This device also comes with some features like Hi-Fi DAC, Dolby Audio and 24bit audio playback.
Meanwhile the connectivity options include 4G LTE, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS and WiFi b/g/n/ac and powered by a 2150mAh battery, with Quick Charge 3.0 technology. The One A9 comes in a size of 145.75 x 70.8 x 7.26mm and Weighs 143g.
The HTC One A9 will be available in Carbon Gray, Opal Silver, Topaz Gold and Deep Gray color variant. As of now, we dont have any information about the pricing and availability of the device. We are expecting more information in the upcoming days.
