HTC One A9 Expected To Launch On October 20: Top Features To Expect

    HTC tweeted a very short 15 seconds video teaser of it upcoming media event. The event is expected to unveil the HTC One A9 smartphone.

    The event will take place on October 20 in New York City at noon time (9:30pm IST). Well, the teaser video doesn't reveal any thing about the expected devices. However, the company hasn't revealed any details about the smartphone launch.

    But, rumors mill have hinted the specifications and details about the device. Take a look at the slider below to know more.


    The latest rumors claims that the smartphone to have a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels that translates to 441 ppi pixel density.


    The HTC One A9 will follow the design language of the One series smartphone. It is reportedly to be 7mm thick, metal body and will be available in six colors.


    According to rumors, the smartphone will be powered by an octa-core processor of Snapdragon 617 chipset, Adreno 405 GPU and will be paired with 2GB of RAM.


    As of now, there is no word about the storage, it is expected that it will come with 16GB of internal storage along with a support for the microSD card slot to expand memory.


    The smartphone to be launched with Android 6.0 Marshmallow onboard out-of-the box.


    The smartphone is expected to comes with 13 megapixel rear camera with OIS and a front-facing 4 megapixel Ultrapixel camera.

    Fingerprint Scanner

    Fingerprint scanner is an appealing features in all flagship smartphones. The HTC will also include the fingerprint scanner on the upcoming One A9.


    It is expected that the smartphone will be packed with 2150mAh battery.
