HTC One M9+ Aurora Edition with 21MP Camera, 3GB RAM Announced

    It seems, the handset maker HTC is on a roll! Following the announcement of Butterfly 3, the company has announced the upgraded version of One M9+ Aurora Edition.

    This variant comes with 21MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, while the secondary camera has been replaced by Laser Auto Focus for faster focus. Otherwise, the specifications of this device is similar to the standard One M9+ which was launched back in April.

    As far as the specifications are concerned, HTC One M9+ sports a 5.2-inch Quad HD display with 1440 x 2560 pixels.

    It is powered by a 2.2 GHz MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) Octa-Core 64-bit processor with PowerVR G6200 GPU, along with 3GB RAM.

    Moving on the One M9+ is equipped with 32GB of internal memory. Coming to the USP of the device, the mobile phone flaunts a 21MP rear camera with dual LED flash along with laser focus,phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) that further improves the camera's focus and also includes Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).

    On the front, this device comes with ultra-pixel front snapper with f/2.2 aperture, 27.8mm wide-angle lens. HTC One M9+ supports the connectivity options including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/ac/b/g/n (2.4 and 5 GHz), Bluetooth with aptX codec, GPS with GLONASS and Dual BoomSound speakers. This device is shipped with Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense 7 UI

    Moreover, it has fingerprint sensor on the new home button and will be powered by a 2,840mAh battery. The HTC One M9+ Aurora Edition comes in Gold, Silver, Black and Grey variant at a price of $ 630(approx Rs. 42,000) and will go on sale initiallt in Taiwan starting from October 15th.
