HTC U11 EYEs specs and images leaked via official website
The U11 EYEs is expected to help HTC gain its position in the mid-range segment of smartphones.
There have been many instances in the past where manufacturers leaked their own products ahead of their official launches. Likewise, although by mistake, HTC has revealed the entire specs sheet and images of its upcoming smartphone U11 EYEs. While the device was also leaked by Evan Blass a couple of days ago, it is always more reliable when the information comes straight from the horse's mouth.
We already had a fair idea about what the HTC U11 EYEs will bring to the table, but the new leak reveals some new details including the camera configuration. Furthermore, the pricing part is unearthed as well. The smartphone will get officially announced today, and the funny thing is we know everything about it. Anyway, let's take a look into the U11 EYEs's specs, features, pricing and availability.
Innards
Under the hood, the HTC U11 EYEs will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor. The chipset will be teamed up with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage space is further expandable using the dedicated microSD card slot.
The smartphone will pack a larger than usual 3,930mAh battery to keep the lights on.
Cameras and Software
Up until the latest leak, we had almost no information about the cameras of the HTC U11 EYEs. We only knew that the smartphone will feature a dual selfie camera setup. Now, it has been revealed, there will be two 5MP sensors at the front with Bokeh Effect, Beauty Mode and an AR Sticker Mode. The phone also boasts of the face recognition feature.
As for the rear camera, the U11 EYEs will feature a 12MP "UltraPixel 3" sensor with OIS and "UltraSpeed" autofocus. Notably, the device has scored 90 in the DxOMark.
On the software front, the smartphone will arrive pre-installed with Android Nougat operating system.
Other features
The HTC U11 EYEs will also come with a 6-inch 1080p Super LCD3 display with the aspect ratio of 18:9. The smartphone will be certified by IP67 for dust and water resistance.
Apart from that, just like the U11, the HTC U11 EYEs will include the Edge Sense technology. With this feature, users will be able to launch apps, take pictures by squeezing the phone's pressure sensitive edges. The smartphone will also arrive with HTC's own voice assistant, USB Type-C port and standard connectivity features.
Pricing details
The HTC U11 EYEs will be retailing for 3,299 Yuan (approx. Rs. 32,526). However, customers who will reserve the phone by paying 99 Yuan (approx. Rs. 980) will get it at just 2,999 Yuan (approx. Rs. 29,570). There are also many other offers and gifts for the people who will pre-order the U11 EYEs. It also seems that buyers will get USonic noise-canceling headphones and Hi-Res Audio inside the box.
The smartphone will be offered in Black, Blue and Red colors.
