The Chinese handset manufacturer Huawei is reportedly working on the successor of its upper mid-range Ascend G7, which is expected to unveiled in this IFA 2015.

Huawei G8 with 2GB RAM, 13MP Camera Spotted at TENAA [Report]

Now, the device has been spotted at the China's certification agency TENAA regulatory website along with usual low resolution pictures along with specs.

This device comes under the model number AL00 and seems like a a metal-clad device with very thin bezels on the sides.

Moving on to the specifications, this so-called G8 will sport a 5 - 5.5-inch screen, 2GB RAM, 16GB of native storage, 13MP rear camera with dual tone flash. If the rumor turns out to be true, it will also employ a touch based fingerprint scanner at the back, like Mate 7.

As of now, there is no official announcement about the pricing and availability of the device. Moreover, the device has already been certified, we can expect the launch in the upcoming days.

On the other hand, the Huawei Hono7 is now up for the international pre-order. The Honor 7 comes packed with 5.2-inch display, Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 935 processor (4xA53 2.2GHz + 4xA53 1.5GHz) with Mali-T628 MP4 GPU besides 3GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory, expandable up to 128GB, Android 5.0 Lollipop on top of Emotion UI 3.1.
