Huawei to launch a 16GB edition of the Honor 4C on September 15th
Huawei launched their Honor 4C budget smartphone in July this year. Sporting a 1.2GHz Octa core Kirin 620 SoC under the hood with 2GB of RAM it definitely wasn't the best budget device around, but still it was a top pick among consumers. The main competitor to the Huawei was the budget offering from Xiaomi i.e. Redmi 2.
The biggest advantage of the Honor 4C over the Redmi however was the 2GB of RAM. But with that gap cut out post the launch of the Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime with 16GB on board storage and 2GB RAM, Huawei now feels it's time to change.

According to a report by GizmoChina, Huawei is reportedly launching a 16GB version of the Honor 4C tomorrow. The existing version of the device sports only a 8GB of internal storage.
It is expected that Huawei will be launching the device in China first and later bring it to India. Analysts at Gizbot are expecting the device to launch at the Honor festival in Goa scheduled on 27th-29th of September alongside the Honor 7. Rest of the specs of the device will however be the same.
The Honor 4C features a 5 inch HD (1280x720) panel along with a 13MP and 5MP rear and front facing cameras respectively. The 13MP camera on the back with LED flash was one of the top selling factors of the Honor device.

The existing device sells at Rs 8,999 in India via Flipkart, and we expect Huawei to price the 16GB ROM variant slightly higher. In case Huawei do place it at Rs 9,999 the Honor 4C would feature stiff competition from YU Yureka Plus and Lenovo K3 Note.
While the camera is the USP of the YU, the K3 Note is sheer powerhouse. Hence Honor 4C would need some luck to attain good sales no!
