After quietly introducing the Huawei Mate 60 Pro, the mobile networking and telecom equipment giant launched another smartphone in the series. Huawei Brings 5G Connectivity After US Sanctions Banning GMS
Huawei unveiled the Huawei Mate 60 Pro 5G this week and has quickly followed its launch with another smartphone in the series. Both devices have several similarities but some major differences.
The Huawei Mate 60 and the Mate 60 Pro feature large, Full HD+ OLED screens with a 120Hz refresh rate. However, the Pro model has a slightly larger 6.82-inch display with 2720 × 1260 pixels resolution, while the standard non-Pro model has a display with 2688 x 1216 pixels resolution.

Both the Huawei Mate 60 and the Mate 60 Pro feature a 13MP front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture for selfies, video calls, and face unlock. Both smartphones also have an under-display fingerprint scanner.
The Huawei Mate 60 packs a 5000mAh Li-ion battery that supports 88W HUAWEI SuperCharge wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 20W reverse wireless charging. The Huawei Mate 60 smartphone features a 4,750mAh battery that supports 66W wired charging, 50W wireless charging and 7.5W reverse wireless charging.
Both Huawei Mate 60 smartphones have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and feature second-generation Kunlun glass on the back. They run Harmony OS 4.0, which is based on the open-source Android OS.
The Huawei Mate 60 Pro features satellite connectivity for emergency messaging services but the Mate 60 lacks this feature that Apple too has introduced in the iPhone.
