Huawei Mate XT Ultimate with Triple Displays Set for Global Launch on February 18 – Here’s What to Expect

Huawei has officially scheduled a launch event for February 18 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, hinting at the global debut of its tri-foldable Mate XT Ultimate. A teaser image shared on X (formerly Twitter) features a glowing Z-like pattern, strongly suggesting that the event will focus on the Mate XT Ultimate, which was originally launched in China in September 2024 as the first commercially available tri-foldable phone.

While Malaysia will be the first market outside of China to receive the Mate XT Ultimate, the phone may also expand to other regions, as it recently secured UAE's TDRA certification, indicating broader availability.

What Makes the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Stand Out?

The Huawei Mate XT Ultimate features multi-directional bending materials, increasing its resistance to bending by 25% compared to traditional foldables. This could make it one of the most durable foldable phones yet.

Triple-Folding Display

The device offers a unique three-mode display setup:

• 6.4-inch OLED screen (2232 × 1008 pixels) - When folded once

• 7.9-inch OLED screen (2232 × 2048 pixels) - When folded twice
