Huawei Nova 3 spotted on TENAA with quad-cameras, Android Oreo
The TENAA listing also reveals, the Nova 3 is equipped with quad-cameras.
Huawei will not be launching any smartphones at the upcoming MWC 2018. However, the company seems to be working on a number of smartphones. The flagship P20 series is confirmed to get unveiled on March 27 in Paris. Other than that, recent leaks suggest there will be other smartphones from different series as well.
It was only yesterday when the Huawei Enjoy 8 was spotted on TENAA, and another handset from the company has now appeared on the Chinese certification site. Carrying the model number FLA-AL00, the smartphone could be the Huawei Nova 3. Notably, it is also listed as FLA-AL10 and FLA-AL30, suggesting that the smartphone may launch in multiple variants.
As far as the specifications go, the alleged Huawei Nova 3 sports a large 5.93-inch display with the screen resolution of 2,160×1,080 pixels. The screen resolutions hints that the smartphone will arrive with a full-screen design with an 18:9 display.
Under the hood, the Nova 3 is expected to be powered by an octa-core Hi-Silicon Kirin 659 processor clocked at 2.36GHz and coupled with Mali-T830 MP2 GPU. At the moment, there is no information on the phone's default storage and RAM configuration. However, the on board storage can be expanded further using the microSD card slot.
The TENAA listing also reveals, the Nova 3 is equipped with quad-cameras. At the front, there will be a 16MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. While the rear dual camera setup is said to be comprised of a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor to capture depth of filed information.
When it comes to software, the smartphone seems to run Android 8.0 Oreo with Huawei's own custom EMUI 8.0 on top. It is backed up by a 3,900mAh battery. Connectivity options on board include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. The handset measures 157.2×75.3×7.89 mm and weighs 170g.
The Huawei Nova 3 will be offered in three color variants, Gold, Black, and Blue. The price and availability of the smartphone are not known yet.
